When I was young, I wanted to be a foreign exchange student. Fortunately for my parents, we didn’t have the money. Mom always said, “There will be plenty of time to travel when you’re older.” I took my first international trip (other than Canada…we lived at the border) my Junior year of High School to Guadeloupe, French West Indies. Then fulfilling my dream by spending my Junior year of College in Northern Ireland. My yearning for more travel continues, and I am certainly not waiting for retirement!
This blog will be a place for me to share my travel stories – and will hopefully inspire you on your journey as well!
I’m glad you are not waiting until retirement to travel! Bernice

Really enjoyed your blog on Iran. Can you tell me the name of the company you used to travel there? We are interested in traveling there also.
Thanks.

Hi Jane! Thanks for reading. I’d be happy to share any information you need. I booked my trip through Uppersia (https://www.uppersia.com/). The owner is Reza, and he is very helpful. I can absolutely recommend Iran as a destination, I hope it works out for you!
